A Poem for Crazy People

So last night, I spent the most amazing night with my favorite people. Long story short, we did Secret Santa. My Secret Santa (code name: Helga Pataki) wanted me to make a poem about these crazy people. I’m posting it because, well, basically, many people told me to. So here we go!

A Poem for Helga Pataki
by NIKKI PAYAWAL

So I have to make this poem, for someone I don’t even know,
It’s for someone in Ants, so I’ll give it a go.
This Helga Pataki wants me to make a poem,
about 20 people who never leave me alone.

Dati, si Andie’y lumlangoy na masaya,
hanggang naBASA yung binaBASA niya.

Now, I bet, Kim and Tim, even if on a dare
would never, in this world, ever shave off their hair.

See, Bea Fider can do two things with a stick,
not only can she cook, she hits people really quick.

Kibby and Missy; being cool and crazy, they share,
one uses her mouth, while the other uses her hair!

Marcelo and Nico, the stage boys of our crew, (The best!)
can you ever get enough of these two? (Uh yes.)

Lyka and Mara, the donyas we all adore,
no wonder we’ve never seen them drunk on the floor!

AJ and CJ, aren’t they both DJs?
If only we could have them all of our days!

So Paula and Tisha can hit that shuttlecock far far away,
but even without the shuttle, it’s all good—as long as they’re not gay?

Stacey and Stefi, two quirky people we all know,
I bet we’d all pay if we could watch them both on a show.

Now, you know that Patsy and Tobi have drank too much,
if they give you more than just their touch.

In this poem Patring deserves her own line,
because she doesn’t make sense, so rhyme crime chime

Finally, Tsina, the only girl I know who could want this poem,
and true enough, she never leaves me alone.
Whether with or without a phone,
she’ll find me as if I was her own—dog.

No matter how crazy and strange these people are,
I love them to death with or without a bar.
So here’s to tonight, and all nights we choose,
let’s make more memories, let’s bring out the booze!

P.S. To Rikka, Louie and Miggy, even if you aren’t in Ants and this is all new;
You’re welcome get wild with this crew!

Ants in Tali Beach (October 2011)

Antlers—you’ll be seeing a lot of this. Don’t ask why; some things in life just is.

What’s a better way to spend sem break than having an adventure with good friends? Tumblr, meet Ants, my crazy barkada. And this our day trip to Tali Beach on the 28th of October, 2011.

Skyping with (left-to-right) Tisha, Kim and Patring before our 3AM meet-up. Don’t mind the awkward mouse on Patring’s mouth—think of it as those gold teeth gang leaders put to look richer; I just manually put one on Patring because I was bored.

At the SLEX pit-stop, 6AM.

Certified j3j3m0ns, Luis and Tisha. No jokes.

Our house in Tali, after weeks of hunting. Not bad for 3,500PHP.

It’ll be so fun to caption this photo, but I’ll leave you to it.

Kim, star ng Maalaala Mo Kaya.

I can’t explain this photo. Nor can I explain why Luis is afraid.

Taken by Stef Sandoval, featuring Ryan Sio. Drama~

Taken by either Stef Sandoval or Ryan Sio—the rest of us are in the photo, cliff-diving. (Yes, cliff diving! WHOO!)

The cliff, with some of the divers. :) (Kim and I were recovering from our “battle wounds” ahem ahem)

Tisha, Luis and I during lunch time. Kim, Tisha, Stef and I prepared lunch, while Luis didn’t. :D Hihihi.

Kim and I, about to leave for the beach in Luis’ car.

And hello, Tisha!

Ryan Sio, your unexpected model. He didn’t even know I was taking this photo. I guess it’s natural.

Kim, bathing his feet in the sea. I don’t know why he needs goggles for this.

Mara and Tisha, wading too.

Here is Mara, wondering if strutting on water is harder than on land. Kim is her only audience. And Stef and Patring are talking about the weather.

Mara again, this time she’s leisurely posing by the aqueous sea.

Eating croquettes with mozarella in Buon Giorno with Patring. This probably tasted better than our main course but we’d still come back again, as we have several times.

Last group shot of the trip, after buying Mochi ice cream. Did you notice the change of skin tones?

To conclude this, here is a random .gif of our weird faces! :D

<3 Ah, I live for days like this. Good friends, great day.
